Well
the argument has came up numerous times to those that confess to be
glorifying God in Christ through Gospel music, Christian Rap or any
other Christian type music.
They use the internet as their tool to say that they are going nation to nation when in reality they never leave their home or office. It might be their in their comfort place and also they are interpreting God's word wrong.
king Stevian our CEO and Apostle had an experience with this as he was on Facebook.
He was approached by a person who said he was a oracle of God. The person told him that his artist Flyby and him needed to stop with the secular type Christian Rap. king responded to him by stating that souls were being won and it was what the Lord told him to do. king Stevian later took it to Gidionn The Overseer to present the message from Facebook and they two discussed the entire situation. There were some doubt about them as Christian Rappers using the world beats to place the word of God through lyrics on top of them and the change did follow. king noticed that the world makes their instrumentals according to the secular things like sex, money , drugs and secular defined love. so what that means is that the intention which is the spirit that is on or in that person is the reason they are making the beat. This is why when the artist come to sing or rap over the beat it keeps the same intention of sex, money, drugs or so on. king was led to know that we are creators from our Father in the beginning and every creation should be made as God made them.....Good. And we know that good has no evil intention. So we should create our own beats and instrumentals and allow faith to exploit the music and message without help from the world.
So in that being said king Stevian has decided to further his label's music into Africa. Well what this has to do with the title of this story is that the Gospel is to be spread not just through the music but by a platform being laid out by his ministry. king Stevian told sources that once the music is there and there are calls for a performance that the booking, church or person will get the preaching before, during and after the music. So this is a perfect way to go to another nation even if they are not seeking a preaching. From what king Stevian tells many sources if they do not welcome the gospel preaching during performances then he will shake the dust off his feet and allow his peace to come back to him and move to the next place.
We as God's people should build with the intention of doing good and not for profit. This is the God way. Even when Noah built the ark it was for a good purpose, for a new beginning with the old being torn down. Like the word says "If I tear rebuild what was torn down, I make myself a transgressor."
So why go back to doing what we did while in the world and sing or rap over a secular beat when we have the spirit of creation and new birth in us that is good.........God.
WHAT DO kING STEVIAN HAS TO SAY ABOUT THIS ACCORDING THE WORD OF GOD?
.Spreading the gospel through music is a touchy topic for many artist and leaders. But know that the word says here in PROVERBS 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.
The first part of this scripture to view is the word FRUIT!!!
Many who state that you cannot use music rather it's Gospel Rap or Gospel to win souls are wrong!
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. Life is what we all in Christ are supposed to have so others can pick from or us to give from. The righteous are the ones doing good works in God and living according to His commandments. Life is what won us all over. As to be a new creature we first had to accept Christ with the fact that we believed we would have a new life through his blood and the baptism that represents that. There is a spirit of wisdom which this makes one wise. We should all pray to God that we receive that spirit from God so we can find a way to win souls to God. Know I didn't say save souls, I said win. Our fruits win a person over with the wisdom God gave us. The scripture in ending says IS WISE! NOT GONNA BE WISE! So this means there is already something in him that won the person over. So using music (of course the non carnal type) to win a new person over to God through Christ is a wise move and only the ones with the spirit of wisdom (which comes from God) is the wise ones. So yes I desire to be a wise guy....lol. Well I already am and you should be too.
